Yamamoto YNSA New Scalp Acupuncture Course

Yamamoto YNSA New Scalp Acupuncture Course

Yamamoto’s YNSA New Scalp Acupuncture is a complete system of acupuncture assessment, diagnosis and treatment, developed by the Japanese physician Toshikatsu Yamamoto.

Yamamoto’s YNSA New Scalp Acupuncture system was discovered in the 1960’s and was first presented to the world in 1973 at the Ryodoraku Congress in Osaka. In the more than 40 years since then, Dr. Yamamoto has not stopped working to improve and complete the system.

In the early 70’s, the method consisted of a single somatotope or microsystem (correspondence between a point on the body and a specific area of the central nervous system, organ, or muscle, etc.) located on the forehead with 5 basic points. Over the course of the years, Dr. Yamamoto has discovered many more points and somatatopes on the head and in other parts of the body. Yamamoto’s YNSA New Scalp Acupuncture is the 2nd most widespread microsystem worldwide, after auriculotherapy.

The system is very effective in the treatment of both acute and chronic pain, neurological disorders such as the after-effects of a stroke, and countless other pathologies.

We offer a highly practical 1.5 day course. There is no need for deep previous knowledge of TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). The only requirement is to come rested and ready to learn.

NEUROFUNCTIONAL SCALP ACUPUNCTURE

In 2005, almost two decades ago, I took my first course in scalp acupuncture. It was called Chinese and Japanese scalp acupuncture.

To delve into the Japanese “scalp,” in subsequent years I participated in various training sessions in different European countries. However, it was in 2017 when I had the opportunity to consult with Dr. Yamamoto at his rehabilitation center in Miyazaki and in his hospital in Nichinan, Japan, which marked a turning point in my life with YNSA.

Regarding the Chinese “scalp,” I continued learning in Europe, China, and Vietnam. Later, I never stopped increasing my knowledge during the years I spent alongside Dr. Martín González in the acupuncture department of San José Hospital and other medical centers in Madrid.

Much more recently, I trained with Dr. Tianjun Wang in Manchester and also with Dr. Jason Hao in London.

After delivering over a hundred editions of my YNSA Yamamoto New Scalp Acupuncture course in 20 countries, I am now pleased to introduce my upcoming course: Neurofunctional Scalp Acupuncture (NSA). This course covers various types of Chinese scalp acupuncture, especially Jiao Sunfa  scalp acupuncture. We will mention other methods as well, such as Zhu’s scalp acupuncture and Lin Xue-Jian’s scalp acupuncture, the course will also explore points on the skull used in other acupuncture methods.

Contrary to popular belief, Jiao Sunfa’s scalp acupuncture is not exclusively for treating neurological issues. It can be equally effective for internal medicine problems, endocrine issues, emotional issues, gynecological problems, and, of course, pain treatment. It is compatible with YNSA.

In this, my third scalp acupuncture course, there are several innovations, including a specially designed anatomical model for this course. It features detailed anatomical elements to enhance our understanding and localization of various points and areas.

In this SCALP ACUPUNCTURE course, the third and final entry about this specialty that fascinates me so much and has allowed me to so well attend my patients, I will present my third acupuncture book: Neurofunctional Scalp Acupuncture (NSA). It is a 300-page manual containing nearly 200 illustrations and color photographs. It also includes a section on neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and other aspects of neuroscience.

To all of you who have taken my YNSA Scalp Acupuncture course and/or the Advanced YNSA course, I invite you to enhance your skills in scalp acupuncture with my new NSA course. If you haven’t participated in any of my courses, you are, of course, more than welcome.

Both the YNSA course, the Advanced YNSA course, and the NSA course have different yet highly compatible and complementary contents, creating a synergy that will undoubtedly provide excellent results with your patients.

The goal of this third Scalp Acupuncture course, with scheduled editions in Madrid, Tenerife, Manila (Philippines), Paris (France), Dublin (Ireland), and Winterthur (Switzerland), is the same as the previous two: for the student to be able to apply their new knowledge the day after completing the course, adding value to their clinical practice by incorporating new “tools” that lead to better results with their patients.

Acutaping Course

Acutaping course

Acutaping is a technique that, in addition to conventional taping strategies, also uses neuromuscular tape on acupuncture points, meridians, trigger points, and myofascial treatment from biotensegrity and myofascial chains.

In the basic acutaping course, we work in very small groups so that students can put this technique into practice the day after finishing the course. In addition, we place special emphasis on helping students understand how acutaping works, which will allow them to develop their own unique way of applying this therapy. They will leave the course with necessary tools to continue learning and growing in the practice of acutaping.

Content:

In this highly practical course, we will study different techniques:

Muscular – Fascial – Space Augmentation – MTP (Myofascial Trigger Points) – TCM (Taping on acupuncture points and meridians) – Ligament Tendons – Lymphatic – Neuro Reflex

Although most commonly used for musculoskeletal treatments, acutaping is not limited to this purpose. It has been used by hundreds of athletes in the Olympic Games in London and Beijing, and is currently used by high level soccer players, tennis players, etc.

Acutaping is very useful in the reduction of pain, the stabilization of ligaments and tendons, scar removal, lymphatic and blood drainage, and in the treatment of diarrhea, constipation, period discomfort and much more.

Electroacupuncture Course

Electroacupuncture is often used in Chinese, Japanese and Vietnamese hospitals to treat a multitude of pathologies, including pain.

It is a very useful tool important for every acupuncturist.

However, the vast majority of them do not use it, or they use it incorrectly.

In this 8-hour course, we will explain everything that has never been explained to you. You will first learn how electroacupuncture devices work from the groudn up: different types of currents, different types of devices on the market, single-phase vs two-phase currents, and different types of waves.

Only by understanding these concepts will you be able to correctly apply electrostimulation.

In this highly practical course, you will understand the basics of electricity and electroacupuncture, allowing you to develop your own therapeutic strategies instead of just applying protocols.
